FC Barcelona won the 2022/23 La Liga following their 4-1 triumph over rivals Espanyol on Sunday evening as Franck Kessie celebrates his second title with the Catalonians.

The Blaugranas were on a mission this Sunday evening at the RCDE Stadium. In search of a coronation that has eluded them for 4 seasons, Barça started very strong.

After only 10 minutes of play, Sergio Busquets and his teammates have solidified their domination. Well served by Baldé, opportunistic Robert Lewandowski quickly opened the scoring (0-1, 11′).

Ten minutes later, Alejandro Baldé, previously a passer, turned into a scorer and made the break (0-2, 20′). Facing an almost non-existent Espanyol team, Barça concluded their big first period with a new achievement signed Robert Lewandowski for their double. 3-0 is the score at the break.

Ideally served by Frenkie De Jong, the French defender headed there and scored the fourth goal of the game, his first under the Blaugranas colors (0-4, 53 ‘).
