“Khalid Al Dabal puts pen to paper as English legend, Steven Gerrard signs with the club”, the club announced.

The former midfielder is expected to be followed by high-profile players from Europe this summer according to the Daily Mail.

Steven Gerrard started his coaching career at Liverpool’s U18 and U19 sides before making the great move to Rangers in Scottland where he made a name for himself between 2018 and 2021 by winning the league in his last season (2020/21).

However, his last experience was disappointing as he got sacked in less than a year at Aston Villa. Al-Ettifaq is the opportunity for him to bounce back.
