Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr have announced the signing of Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic from Serie A club Inter Milan.

The Brozovic saga is now over.

After several weeks of uncertainty, the 30-year old finally chose to leave Europe.

Brozovic was on the radars of FC Barcelona but the Spanish side’s economic situation did not allow the deal to be sealed.

Al-Nassr reached an agreement with Inter on a €18m transfer fee and completed the World vice-champion signing on Monday.

The club even took a dig at Barcelona while anouncing his arrival : “Everyone wanted him. He wanted ONLY us”, Al-Nassr wrote.

“Al-Nassr has officially signed with the Croatian Star Marcelo Brozović. We wish him good luck with our stars.”

Brozovic signed a three-year deal (until June 2026) with Al-Nassr and will earn a bit more than €35m salary per year.
