Real Madrid has long been considered his favourite destination, but he has declined to sign an extension to his PSG contract, allowing him to depart for free next year.
PSG wants to offload him immediately and receive a hefty transfer fee for a player who was purchased from Monaco in 2017 for 180 million euros ($198 million).

Mbappe was not invited to the preseason tour of Japan and South Korea, was not permitted to train with the first squad, and only participated in one of PSG’s five exhibition matches.

Neymar, a Brazilian, will not play against Lorient on Saturday night due to a “viral syndrome”.

Marco Verratti, a former Barcelona star and Italian midfielder who has also not been selected for the team against Lorient, is said to be willing to be sold by the club.

With Lionel Messi already playing for Inter Miami, new PSG coach Luis Enrique is anticipated to start three rookies in attack: Lee Kang-In from South Korea, Gonçalo Ramos from Portugal, and Marco Asensio from Spain.
