However, his situation does not seem to bother Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton.

According to well-known Ghanaian journalist Owuraku Ampafo, Ayew is expected to be included in the squad for the game scheduled for September 6 at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The British manager is yet to decide whether Andre Ayew will start or not but says he needs his experience and leadership for this decisive clash.

Ghana is currently on top of Group E with 9 points ahead of Angola (8) and Central African Republic (7). A draw will be enough to secure the Africa Cup of Nations spot but a win will assure them the first position whatever the other game’s result will be.
