The Sudanese champions hosted AS Otoho ‘Oyo on Friday at the same ground and eliminated them on away goal rule to go through to the next round. Both teams expect the friendly match will be beneficial in terms of keeping players active during the international break.

Rayon Sports will face Al Hilal Benghazi in the first leg in Libya on September 15 in the Confederation Cup second round while Al Merrikh will welcome Tanzanian side Young Africans (Yanga SC) to Huye Stadium also on the same day in a Champions League second round match.
