UEFA Champions League UCL: Osimhen In Action As Real Madrid Fightback To Victory In Naples

In their Champions League Group C matchup on Tuesday, Real Madrid rallied to defeat Napoli 3-2, with Victor Osimhen playing the complete 90 minutes.

The tragic own goal by Alex Meret, the Italian team’s custodian, gave the Spaniards the victory.

Leo Ostigard’s header gave Napoli the lead in the 19th minute, but the visitors quickly leveled the score thanks to goals from Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham.

Real, however, came away with the victory in the 78th minute when Federico Valverde’s magnificent long-range shot deflected off the back of a flailing Meret and into his own goal.

With six points after two games, Real is in first place in Group C, three points ahead of Napoli and Braga. With no points, Union Berlin is at the bottom.
