Africa Women's Cup of Nations AWCON 2024 Qualifiers: Falcons Arrive Praia For Cape Verde

The Super Falcons have arrived in Praia, where they will play Cape Verde in the second leg of the 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations final qualifiers on Tuesday, December 5 at Santiago-Estadio Nacional Blue Shark.

In preparation for their match against Cape Verde, the contingent to Praia included all 25 players and officials.

After outplaying their Cape Verdean opponents to 5-0 victory in the first leg of the qualifiers on Thursday in Abuja, the Super Falcons enter the second leg with a significant lead.

Sylvina Welma Garnett, a Liberian, will serve as the referee and Hannah Moses, another Liberian, will serve as assistant referee 1.

Precious Amara of Sierra Leone and Humu Marah of Guinea-Bissau will be the assistant referees two and four officials, respectively, while Oumou Souleymane Kane of Mauritania will act as commissioner and Senegalese national Fadouma Dia as referee assessor.

Morocco will host the 13th edition of the premier women’s football tournament in Africa in July of next year.
