Kenya Kenya finish second and third in CAF African Schools Football

The Kenya U15 Girls Select and Boys Select has finished second and third, respectively, on Wednesday in the CAF African Schools Football Championship CECAFA Qualifier Campaign at Kasarani Stadium.

Lindey Weey Atieno put the Kenya U15 Girls Select in the lead through a freekick early on in the game. Uganda’s Shadia Nabiriye equalized the scores right before the half-time whistle. Right after the break, Shadia Nabiriye got her brace and took the lead sealing the scores at 2-1.

The Kenya U15 Boys Select 1-0 win against Burundi got them the third position. Both teams got the fair play award, Lindey Weey Atieno stood out in the tournament and received the best player of the tournament award.
