AFCON CAF unveils Ecobank as official sponsor of the Ivory Coast tourney

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has welcomed Ecobank, one of the leading Pan-African banking groups as the latest official sponsor of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.

Through this partnership with CAF, Ecobank aims to reinforce its connection with the millions of Africans who will be celebrating the magic of football at CAF AFCON Cote d’Ivoire 2023. Ecobank operates in 35 African countries, 16 of these countries are among the 24 African Nations that are competing in the CAF AFCON Cote d’Ivoire 2023.

The President of CAF Dr Patrice Motsepe said: “CAF is proud to welcome Ecobank as the latest official sponsor of the AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire. One of our objectives is to ensure that CAF Competitions are exciting and appealing to fans and broadcasting spectators in Africa and globally and contribute to the growth and success of our Sponsors and Partners.”

The most popular football event on the Continent, the AFCON Cote d’Ivoire 2023 will kick off on Saturday 13 January 2024 in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
