The Super Eagles crushed a local team in a friendly on Sunday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 12-0.

Ademola Lookman scored four goals and Victor Osimhen scored two to give Jose Peseiro’s team a 6-0 lead at the half.

Moses Simon, a replacement, scored twice in the second half, while Umar Sadiq and captain Ahmed Musa also scored.

Two own goals were also scored by their opponent during the match.

The friendly match between the Super Eagles and the Syli Nationale of Guinea on Monday at Yani Abas Stadium will now take centre stage.

There will be no public viewing of the friendly match against Guinea.

On Wednesday, they’ll go to Abidjan for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
