Following the heavy sanction placed on the club on Monday, the management of the Nigeria Premier Football League side Kano Pillars has appealed to the league board to temper justice with mercy.
The hammer of the league board fell on the Sai Ma Gida boys for the unruly behaviour of their fans in the game against Plateau United.
The club hierarchy on Tuesday released a statement pleading with the league body.

“The leadership of Kano Pillars Football Club has pleaded with the NPFL Disciplinary Committee to reconsider its stance over the Twel Million Two hundred and fifty thousand Naira Fine imposed on the team due to the alleged misconduct of some political thugs which led to delay in the transmission of a live broadcast as well as the s throwing objects into the Pitch in protest of the decision of the match official during its week Seventeen Premier League match against visiting Plateau United at Sani Abacha Stadium Kofar Mata Kano.
This entailed a letter signed by Secretary of the club Comrade Sani Ibrahim Alias Coach and made available to media outfits via the Assistant Media Officer of the team Mubarak Ismail Abubakar Madungurum.
