The Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed its typical team after the end of the group stage of the African Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast 2023.
Unsurprisingly, the eleven is dominated by Moroccan and Senegalese players.
In the goals, we find the Equatorial Guinean goalkeeper Jesùs Owono. In defense, Kalidou Koulibaly (Senegal) and Nayef Aguerd (Morocco) are the central ones, Achraf Hakimi (Morocco) and Arthur Masuaku (DR Congo) occupy the wings.
In midfield, the Atlas Lions are well represented with Sofyan Amrabat (Morocco) and Azzedine Ounahi (Morocco) who are accompanied by the Senegalese nugget Lamine Camara, already author of two goals in this CAN. Scorer against Cameroon, Ismaila Sarr is in this typical team, aligned in attack with the Angolan Gelson Dala and the current top scorer in the competition, Emilio Nsue.
