Transfer window Aurier Join Galatasaray From Nottingham Forest

Serge Aurier, the captain of the Ivory Coast, has joined Turkish Super Lig team Galatasaray from Premier League Nottingham Forest, the two teams announced on Friday.

Joining Forest in September 2022, the 31-year-old defender has made 41 appearances in all competitions. He is presently playing for his country at the Africa Cup of Nations. 13 times this season, he has been featured.

Two points above the relegation zone, Forest is ranked 16th in the league rankings.

Champions Galatasaray announced that Aurier has committed till the end of the season and that Forest would receive a transfer fee of 100,000 euros ($107,850.00).

The player will be paid a net guarantee fee of 600,000 euros and a net signing fee of 150,000 euros for the 2023/2024 season,” the Istanbul club added.

Aurier has joined Davinson Sanchez and Tanguy Ndombele, his former teammates at Tottenham Hotspur, at Galatasaray.
