Victor Osimhen is eligible to play in Wednesday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

Due to stomach trouble, Osimhen was a huge question for the game after missing the team’s Monday night trip to Bouake.

During his pre-match press conference earlier today, head coach Jose Peseiro did not provide a guarantee over the Napoli forward’s availability for the encounter.

“Until now, I cannot answer right because it is about health. This afternoon, I can know better if he can play or not,” Peseiro stated.

Osimhen is en route to Bouake in order to reunite with his team.

In five Super Eagles appearances at the current AFCON 2023 finals, the 25-year-old has one goal and one assist.

Prior to their match against the Bafana Bafana later tonight at the Stade Annexe, Bouake, the Super Eagles will conduct their final practice.
