After his brilliant performance this weekend which marked his return from injury, Mohamed Salah could once again return to the infirmary.

On Saturday, Salah replaced the injured Diogo Jota just before half-time at the Gtech Community Stadium. It was his first appearance in a Liverpool shirt since New Year’s Day.

Salah took the opportunity to score a goal and deliver an assist during the victory against Brentford. However, the Reds may have to prepare for Salah’s absence again this Wednesday.

Reports reveal he could miss Luton Town’s reception at Anfield due to a relapse linked to his hamstring injury. It will be another hard blow for Liverpool who must do without Diogo Jota, out for around two months.

Salah has 29 goals in 28 games for the Reds this season.
