Friendly Olunga with a double as Kenya smash four past Malawi

Kenya’s Harambee Stars dominated Malawi 4-0 in their opening match of the Four Nations Tournament played at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe, Malawi on Saturday.

Captain Michael Olunga wasted no time capitalizing on Daniel Anyembe’s cross in the first minute. He made his brace through a penalty in the fifth minute. In the second half, Ayub Timbe netted the third goal in the 83rd minute, and three minutes deep into extra time, John Avire sealed the deal with the fourth goal for Harambee Stars.

Up next, Harambee Stars will play in the final against Zimbabwe while Malawi will face Zambia for bronze. Zimbabwe booked their place in the final after defeating Zambia 6-5 on penalties in the early kick off.
