Ghana Otto Addo expresses concern over Ghana Black Stars after Nigeria, Uganda friendlies

Black Stars coach Otto Addo expressed his concerns over Ghana after his men failed to win none of their friendly matches this month.

Ghana first lost 1-2 to Nigeria before drawing 2-2 with Uganda after leading twice in the game.

The Black Stars’ performance rose concern amid fans and the coach himself is affected as he aims at bolstering the team before 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June against Mali and Central African Republic.

“The football we played was not good enough”, Addo acknowledged.

“We should have created more chances, especially in the final third. Finishing must be better, but I have to say this is what I expected. The last games before I came, generally, we were not good.

“We hope that key players from this team will come back so we are stronger in June. We got a lot of answers to a lot of open questions from these matches. Positive but also negative answers, to be honest.”
