FC Nantes fans will not see Moses Simon on the pitch this season again ad the Nigerian forward is ruled out till the end of this term with an injury.

The 28-year old was on international duty with the national team when he picked up an injury playing against Mali on Tuesday as Super Eagles bowed 0-2 to Eagles.

Simon has left the game with a fibula injury as announced by FC Nantes following examinations’ results in France.

“Moses Simon was injured yesterday against Mali. Our Nigerian striker suffers from a broken fibula which means the end of the season,” the club said in a statement.

“FC Nantes is already keen to provide its full support to its attacker and wishes him a speedy recovery!”
