Ligue 1 Mostafa Mohamed on the verge of joining a French top-flight club

Egypt and current Galatasaray forward Mostafa Mohamed is reportedly expected in France this Tuesday, August 31 to complete his move to a Ligue 1 club.

The 23-year old has been playing at the Turkish Super Lig side on loan since February this year.

Mostafa has a great start to new life in Turkey as he scored 11 goals in 21 appearances across all competitions with Galatasaray.

However, despite the club’s desire to trigger his option to buy, the Pharaoh is likely to move away.

According to French outlet RMC Sport, Mostafa Mohamed is expected to complete his move to Girondins de Bordeaux today.

The medical has been already scheduled for the 23-year old as Bordeaux will hijack him from joining AS Saint-Etienne who were leading the race to acquire his services days ago.

In addition, Mostafa Mohamed will bring around €4m to Zamalek, his parent club where his contract runs until June 2024.
