French Ligue 2 club Le Havre AC were said to be leading the race for the South African forward Percy Tau on a season-long loan with an option to make the deal permanent.

Howerver after all three parties failed to reach an agreement, the move has fallen through. And the player is set to stay in Cairo.
It’s believed the Eyptian Premier League giants Al Ahly will only let Tau go in case they receive a tempting offer, with the player also keen on proving himself with the Reds.
The Bafana Bafana star still has three years left in his contract with Al Ahly and will hope to get back on the right track after his recovery from injury.
