Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Tusker are on the verge of clinching their first trophy of the season after they stopped Miembeni of Zanzibar 2-0 to reach the final of the Mapinduzi Cup to be played tomorrow.
Former Mathare United forward Jesse Were netted his fourth goal of the competition when he scored in the 72nd minute. The goal came after Luke Ochieng’ had put Tusker ahead in the 52nd minute.
