Egypt Omar Abdulrahman ‘Amory’ Aiming At Joining Al Ahly Alongside Hussein El-Shahat

Emirati international and Al Jazira forward, Omar Abdulrahman ‘Amory’, said that he hopes to, one day, play at Al Ahly. A club where his former teammate Hussein El-Shahat currently plays.

Amory is considered as one of the UAE’s top talents of his generations. And he is mostly known for his amazing dribbling abilities and skillfulness.

He kicked-off his professional career with Emirati giants Al Ain, where he spent ten years from 2008 to 2018.

During that time he played alongside Egypt international Hussein El-Shahat for eight months, when the current Al Ahly winger was on loan from Misr El-Makkasa.

Between them the duo scored 15 goals and provided a further 19 assists across all competitions, lifting the UAE Pro League along the way.

Amory congratulated El-Shahat on winning the historic treble with Al Ahly, praising the player for his performances.

Congratulations Hussein on the historic treble with Al Ahly. I know it was your dream to play for this club. And it came true.” The former Al Hilal man told Ontime Sport TV.

Hussein is a spontaneous, likable and humble person. And his love for the group of players made it easier for him to integrate the team and to shine.

He also proved that he’s a big player. His humility, his confidence, his capabilities along with his mother’s prayers led him to win trophies with Al Ahly.” He added.

Amory concluded his statement by saying that he hopes to play within the Red Castle one day alongside El-Shahat.

I hope that he continues on improving like he did at Al-Ain and that he continues on performing better. Al Ahly is a big club. And I hope to play there. Especially with Hussein in the team.” He concluded.

Since signing for the Red Castle back in January 2019, El-Shahat has made 62 appearances across all competitions scoring on 14 occasions while providing 11 assists.

He also already lifted two Egyptian Premier League trophies, the CAF Champions League, the Egypt Cup and the Egyptian Super Cup.
