Nigeria NWFL:Dominance vows to keep scoring for Delta Queens

Delta Queens forward Odubanjo Dominance has vowed to help her club return to winning ways ahead of their NWFL week 3 game against Sunshine Queens in Agbor on Wednesday, Dec. 23rd 2020.

The Pearls suffered one of their greatest loss home and away in the league when they visited NWPL reigning champions, Rivers Angels.

Dominance who spoke with Africatopsports.com said her team have put the loss behind them.

She noted that despite the performance they put against Rivers side, it was unfortunate they loss.

“I was happy to have netted my third goal and when the scoreline was 3-2, I thought we could bounce back.

“But that is football, we lost 6-2, a margin I was so disappointed with because we played our best.”

“Our target now is the game against Sunshine Queens and I am confident we are going to get the three points to keep the momentum.

Dominance while reacting to her inclusion for the second time in the NWFL week two “team of the week” said;

“I really want to first thank my coach for the confidence he has on me and also my teammates because I can’t score without their support.

” For me, being included in the NWFL team of the week is cool but what matters is my team winning games and me scoring also.

“I believe I will be able to once again score and help my team get the points when we host Sunshine Queens.”

The former Jokodolu Babes forward has scored three goals in two games for Delta Queens in her debut season .
