Africa Kossi Agassa: Absent from the 4 appointed guardians of the UNFP

Though praised along the season by sports reporters following his decisive decisions which allowed Reims to beat Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon and some great clubs in Ligue 1, Agassa Kossi could not be seen on the list of the goalkeepers nominees for the UNFP trophy.
Once in the regular team in Ligue 1, it was at the end of the 25th day, the Togolese goalkeeper should not be sidelined.

Last season, the Togolese was part of the four nominees of the League 2. The former Metz is one of the architects who helped his club to keep hope to maintain this season in Ligue 1.

Agassa Kossi is the third keeper behind Sirigu of Paris Saint-Germain and Steve Mandanda of Marseille to be more sought by opponents. The former goalkeeper of Etoile Filante of Togo can take comfort with his nomination as the best player of the month of April. This is the second time for him to be honored by this distinction.
On Thursday, the UNFP unveiled the list of the four selected for the distinction: Landreau (Lille and then Bastia), Steve Mandanda (Marseille), Stéphane Ruffier (Saint-Etienne) and Salvatore Sirigu (Paris).

The lucky winner will succeed Hugo Lloris.
