Africa Ghana:Latifu Salifu does not need an external help from anybody to undergo his surgery

Latif-SalifuAs Africa Top Sports reported some hours ago, The Ghanaian former Under-20 star Latif Salifu of  Berekum Chelsea has been sidelined from the beginning of the season due to an injury he picked during their 2-0 defeat at Amidaus Professionals last month.

Said to require an amount of $4200 to operate his injured anterior cruciate ligament, the player says his effort at explaining his current situation has been misconstrued and insists he does not need an external help from anybody.

“I am not begging for money, a number of friends have called to find out about that story which appeared in the media “Latif said

“The surgery is going to cost about 4,200 dollars and Chelsea has promised to pay that money so it is not true that I am in need of contributions from the public.

“The surgery has delayed because of some few issues and not about money.

“I felt very bad that someone will tell such a lie that I am looking for help while I haven’t spoken to anyone about that.

“I work for a responsible football club and they have promised to pay for the cost of the surgery.”

The player will arguably undergo his surgery this week.
