Former Ghana FA boss Lepowura M.N.D Jawula claims the appointment of a technical director for the Black Stars to excel at World Cup Brazil 2014. German Klaus Toppmoller would be the likely target for such a responsibility meant to aid the work of the ex-Asante Kotoko great.

The refusal of the Black Stars technical head and the didvision of views on the idea throughout Ghana do not prevent the former FA boss from insisting on his proposal.

“If we are going for a world cup it is good that he (Kwesi Appiah) will lead us, but we can get a good technical director around him to correct him,” Jawula told Accra-based Joy FM.

“But if we say he should go by himself I don’t think it is the right thing.

“We are happy that Kwesi Appiah is a black coach and he is taken us to the world cup so we will support him.

“It will be good if we will get some technical director or group around him; somebody he can talk to, but to say he should go all by himself I don’t think is modern at all.”
