Basket-ball NBA All Star Game: Frank Vogel on the bench in the East

FrankVogelThe stars of the Eastern Conference to be at New Orleans Arena for the All Star Game 2014, have just known their coach. It is no one but Frank Vogel.

With the 30th win of the season of teammates of Ian Mahinmi as they hosted Kings (116-92), the head coach of the Indiana Pacers will have the privilege to lead the East All Stars on February 16.

The regulation requires that the coaches who have the best record in each conference are those who lead the all-star game; Frank Vogel is guaranteed to be on the bench in the East.

“It is an honor and I’m much excited,” he confided to the Indy Star. With ten victories over his pursuers, Frank Vogel cannot be caught up. He succeeds Coach Erik Spoelstra of Miami Heat, ineligible for this edition. Vogel is the fourth coach in the history of the Indianapolis franchise that will coach a game All Star Game.

Frank Vogel will travel to New Orleans on February 16 with at least Paul George, well positioned in the vote, who also has been outstanding night with 31 points.
