Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang failed to close up the gap and could miss the chance of winning the Golden Boot for a second successive season.

The striker has scored 20 Premier League goals this season and he is one goal behind Danny Ings and three behind runaway candidate for the individual accolade, Jamie Vardy.

However, should the former Borussia Dortmund striker could have a chance to scoop the award on the final day at home to Watford.

Aubameyang will need to better his two-goal show against the Hornets from earlier in the season if he is to stand a chance of claiming the Golden Boot.

Also, Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah is still in contention for the Golden Boot award.

The Egyptian currently have 19 league goals to his name and could add to his tally when Liverpool hosts Chelsea on Wednesday night at Anfield.
