As announced a few weeks ago, Hubert Velud, coach of Sudan starts an internship with his team. This is in view of the 2021 AFCON playoffs.

He has been appointed to the head of the club at the beginning of the year. But the French technician never really had the opportunity to work with his team. With the coronavirus outbreak, Velud spent his confinement in France. Now back to the team, the former coach of Togo starts the work.

He made up group of 29 local players for the camp. Al Hilal and Al Merreikh players are the greater part of the squad.

Sudan will face Ghana in November for the 3rd and 4th game days for the 2021 AFCON playoffs.
