Africa Soccer Ghana vs Sudan clash to be played behind closed doors, GFA confirms

Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed earlier on Tuesday that the Ghana vs Sudan game for 2021 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifier will be played without fans.

Ghana will host Sudan on Friday, November 13 at Cape Coast for the first leg of 2021 AFCON qualifier before flying to Khartoum on November 17. However, the Ghana FA announced that Black Stars fans are not allowed to attend stadium for this important game.

“The General public is hereby informed that Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan will take place behind closed doors.” GFA wrote on their website.

Moreover, GFA added that all the technical team as well as the whole team and the ball boys will undergo the coronavirus tests.

Meanwhile, only journalists who will make live commentary on TV will have the access to stadium in respect of the social distancing. Same with both teams’ photographers who are the one authorized to take pictures.

However, there will be no post match press conference, neither a mixed zone apart from the virtual one that will be live on GFA’s official Facebook page.
