Ghanaian centre-back Alexander Djiku featured in Racing Club Starsbourg’s 2-0 win on Wednesday night over Angers on matchday 15 of French’s Ligue 1.

The Black Stars defender played as usual in the heart of the defence alongside Simakan and they were solid as RC Strasbourg secured a clean sheet.

Their second consecutively after the convincing 4-0 win at Nantes in the previous matchday. And Alexander Djiku wants this streak to be continued.

“Second consecutive away win. Let’s extend the streak” the 26-year-old wrote on social media.

In addition, Strasbourg will host Girondins Bordeaux next Sunday at their own stadium.
