Nigeria So sad my brace couldn’t help my team to victory- Dominance

Delta Queens FC forward Odubanjo Dominance has expressed her displeasure over their loss to Rivers Angels in Wednesday’s NWFL week 2 game.

 
Dominance continued her impressive season debut with Delta Queens as she scored another brace to help her side reduce the deficit.
 
Rivers Angels scored three early goals ta the UNIPORT Sports Complex, but Dominance gave her side the hope of a possible come back as she scored in both half.

Speaking with Africatopsports.com after the game, the forward expressed her disappointment over the outcome of the game.
 
She said, “It’s so unfortunate that my two goals could not help my team to get the victory we wanted.
 
” I knew the game will not be easy but, we wee also equal to the task, just that we let them score us three early goals.
 
The forward was starved of passes from her midfielder and most of the time was also isolated.
 
Rivers Angels cut off our midfield so I was not getting much of the passes and as you saw the only one got I scored with it.
 
“However, it’s not an excuse because it’s a big lesson for me and my teammates to ponder.
 
” Our next game will be against Sunshine Queens and we are looking forward to right our wrongs and bounce back to victory.”
 
Dominance has now scored for goals in two games she had played for Delta Queens.
 
The forward who set a 15 goal target last week made the NWFL best XI team.
