AFCON CAMEROON 2021 Caf releases referees line-ups for Round-of-16 matches

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the list of referees to handle Sunday’s Round-of-16 matches.

Senegalese referee Maguette Ndiaye, who was at the centre of controversy in the World Cup qualifying game between Ghana and South Africa after he awarded the Black Stars a penalty, will handle the match between Nigeria and Tunisia.

He will be assisted by compatriots El Hadji Malick Samba and Djibril Camara with Issa Sy serving as the fourth official.

Moroccan referee Redouane Jiyed will be in charge of the game between Burkina Faso and Gabon.

He will be helped by compatriots Lahcen  Azgaou and Mostafa Akarkad as the first and second assistant referees with Ahmad Imtehaz Heeralall from Mauritius to handle Fourth official duties.
