Mamelodi Sundowns are hosting Al Ahly at Kaizer Chiefs’ home ground this afternoon for Their Caf Champions League return game.

Mamelodi Sundowns are unbeaten in Group A after they steered three points clear at the top with a 1-0 win over Al Ahly two weeks ago. This was the Brazilians first ever victory over the Red Devils in Egypt.

Sundowns could be on the cusp of reaching the quarter-finals if they complete a double over Mosimane’s charges.

Masandawana will be without co-coach Rhulani Mokwena on the bench due to suspension after he was sent to the stands during the last encounter.

Al Ahly, meanwhile, have another must-win game after they rescued their campaign with a 3-2 victory over Al Merreikh last weekend.

The Red Devils are second in the group with four points and will climb to the top if they win by more than a one goal margin.
