Nigeria NPFL:Kayode Scoop LBA Player Of The Month Award

Rivers United forward Ishaq Kayode Rafiu has been named February’s League Bloggers Association (LBA) Nigeria Professional Football League Player of the Month.

Ishaq Kayode was in stellar form for Rivers United throughout the month, scoring three goals in six NPFL outings, including a brace in our 2-1 win over Dakkada FC.

The current league top scorer with 11 goals saw off competition from Abdulaeez Yufus, Valentine Odoh and Ibrahim Yahaya to win the award.

Plateau United head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu scooped the coach of the Month award for February.

Plateau United maintained their unbeaten streak in the month of February not losing any game as they remain second on the Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) table.
