Real Madrid president Florentino Perez sent a message to Kylian Mbappe following his club’s 14th UEFA Champions league trophy against Liverpool on Saturday night (1-0).
The PSG star was heavily linked with a move to the LaLiga champions this summer. However, he unexpectedly extended his contract until June 2025 with the French club.
So far, Real Madrid players including Karim Benzema have been reacting on the news and the later one to do it at the club is the president Perez.

Asked on the outcome of the Kylian Mbappe saga, he replied : “Real Madrid will always continue to work on having the best players, but today Mbappe is already forgotten”, he told Movistar+.
“Nothing has happened, Real Madrid have had a perfect season and that is a forgotten issue, there is only a Real Madrid party.”
After extending his contract, Kylian Mbappe said his dream of playing for Real Madrid is not yet over. It remains unknown whether the Spanish side will go for him again.
