Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the three finalists for 2022 African Footballer of The Year Award a day before the ceremony in Rabat, Morocco.
The 30-man shortlist was reduced to 10 weeks ago with Riyad Mahrez, Sadio Mane, Sebastien Haller and Edouard Mendy making the list.
However, the Manchester City winger and the new Borussia Dortmund signing are ejected from the final top 3 list announced by CAF on Wednesday.

Sadio Mane is seen by many as the potential winner for his achievements with Senegal he helped win its first ever AFCON in Cameroon in February and later qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
