Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane has opened up on the difference between the playing style of the Reds and that of his new club Bayern Munich.

Mane left Liverpool this summer after spending six years of glory at Anfield winning everything possible with the Reds except the Community Shield.

The 30-year old has just arrived in Munich but quickly settled in as he scored on his Bundesliga debut with the Bavarians after having found the back of the net in the German Super Cup against RB Leipzig.

Speaking to ESPN, Sadio Mane revealed what is different in Julian Naglesmann’s playing style compared to that of Jürgen Klopp.

“It’s a different system because Liverpool play 4-3-3 and here (at Bayern), we play 4-2-2-2, which is really different. But at the same time, pressing high is similar (at both clubs), Mane said.

“The way we attack is a bit different, and I really enjoy it here, and I’m very happy with my new role at Bayern Munich he added.

Bayern Munich will host Wolfsburg next Sunday for Bundesliga’s matchday 2 at 15:30 GMT.
