Dessers was on fire on loan at Dutch side Feyenoord last season, making 41 appearances in all competitions, in which he netted 20 goals including ten in the inaugural edition of the Europa Conference League.

The Belgian-born striker was also instrumental in the club’s run to the Europa Conference League final which they lost to Jose Mourinho’s Roma.

Despite his exploits, Feyenoord did not trigger the option to buy clause that was inserted in his initial loan deal.
