FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP FIFA U17 WWC: Musa Splashes N3m On Victorious Flamingos

Ahmed Musa, the captain of the Super Eagles, has offered to give the Flamingos N3 million in exchange for their bronze-medal performance at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Recall that Nigeria made Africa proud at the competition by defeating Germany 3-2 on penalties.

But Musa announced via his official Twitter account that he will give the team N3m for their historic victory on Sunday.

Three million waiting for Flamingos in Abuja,” the former Leicester City man wrote in a reply to Super Falcons’ tweet celebrating Nigeria’s historic feat. “Congratulations.”


With their triumph on Sunday, Nigeria became the second African team to accomplish the feat. At the 2012 edition of the competition, Ghana won the bronze medal.
