Chelsea manager Graham Potter announced on Thursday Hakim Ziyech’s return to training with the London side after his loan move to PSG fell through.

The 28-year old was expected to leave Stamford Bridge this winter in search for playing time at Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the deal could not happen after Chelsea failed to send the right documents in time for PSG to register the Moroccan star.

Reports claim Hakim Ziyech is very saddened by the way the deal was conducted by Chelsea officials.

The former Ajax Amsterdam star even called Chelsea owner Todd Boehly to make everything possible and was even ready to pay for his move.

But things went the wrong for him and he is now back in London and will not leave Chelsea until the end of the season.

“He’s back in the country. He trained this morning. These stories aren’t the first, they won’t be the last”, Potter said as per Sky Sports.

“He’s a professional player and understands the situation. He’s committed to us and available for the squad against Fulham. He will be an important player for us for the rest of the season.”
