Lobi Stars fought back from a goal down and defeated Rivers United w 2-1 in the second match of Group B of the 2023 Naija Super 8 on Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.

In the 31st minute, a shot by Albert Korvah that was deflected into the goal gave Rivers United the lead.

In the 71st minute, a half-volley by Okoromi David brought Lobi level.

In the 96th minute, Chibuike Charles scored to give Lobi the victory.
Akwa United defeated Yobe Stars 2-1 in the opening round of Group B.

Two games in Group A will be played on Sunday to continue the tournament.

At 2, Remo will take on Katsina United, and at 4, newly promoted NPL team Sporting Lagos will take on Enyimba.
