Transfer window Marseille reach agreement with Sheffield over Iliman Ndiaye transfer

French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille reached an agreement with Sheffiled United over the transfer of Senegal international Iliman Ndiaye.

The 23-year old was first a summer target for Everton but he rejected the proposal as he wants top-flight football.

Marseille then jumped in to cease the opportunity and have now reached an agreement with the EFL Championship side.

According to French outlet RMC Sport, Marseille and Sheffield reached an agreement over the transfer of Iliman Ndiaye.

The transfer fee is around €15m according to the aforementioned source.

Ndiaye is expected to undergo his medical on Monday and then complete the move.

Last season, Ilimane Ndiaye scored 15 goals and provided 12 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions and was part of Senegal’s quad during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
