Ghana Nuamah, Kudus on target again as Ghana defeats Liberia

Ghana put up an impressive second-half performance to beat Liberia 3-1 in an international friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday.

Ernest Nuamah and Mohammed Kudus were on target again for the Black Stars days after their goals at the Baba Yara Stadium saw the West African nation secure a slot to participate in the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast. After an impressive performance, Nuamah latched on to a long pass and slotted home to put the Black Stars up by a goal in the 53rd minute.

The pacy winger then set up Kudus for a spectacular goal that doubled Ghana’s lead. Substitute Jordan Ayew then added Ghana’s third goal of the day with a few minutes to the end of the game.

However, Teah managed to grab a consolation goal for the away team just before the final whistle. The Black Stars will play two friendly games against the USA and Mexico as they continue preparations for the 2023 AFCON.
