Al-Hilal superstar Neymar Jr took on social media to deny the reports claiming he demanded the Saudi side’s officials to sack head coach Jorge Jesus after a ‘dressing room fight’.

Sport Italia and certain Saudi media indicate that Neymar would have demanded the departure of his coach, Jorge Jesus, following the draw against the Uzbek club Navbahor Namangan in the Asian Champions League on Monday September 18.

The Brazilian striker from Al Hilal reacted on social networks to the article in the Catalan newspaper Sport which reported that Neymar had asked Al Hilal management to sack Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, prompting the player to deny the information on social media.

Al Hilal plays this Monday in the King’s Cup against Al Jabalain, but Neymar was not called up. And Jorge Jesus, the coach of Al Hilal, is better placed to justify this absence.

“I made the decision to leave Neymar out yesterday after meeting him because he needs more time to prepare physically. I have a strong and special relationship with him before his arrival from Brazil”, he wrote.
