France Sadio Mane : Al-Nassr superstar set to become French club owner

Senegal and Al-Nassr forward Sadio Mane is reportedly in the verge of completing the purchase of a French club as part of his post-career plans.

The 31-year old who played for Metz, Southampton m, Liverpool and Bayern Munich in Europe is now earning a €40m annual salary with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.Mane who teams up with Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle-East wants to create his own impact after his career and he is set to complete the buying of French fourth-tier side Bourges Foot 18.

According to local media Le Berry Républicain, Sadio Mane started discussing the purchase of the club three years ago when he got in touch with president Cheikh Sylla. The 2021 AFCON winner and MVP is also believed to have a healthy relationship with Bourges mayor Yann Galut.

The aforementioned source reports that the official announcement of the news could be done this Wednesday with Sadio Mane ready to invest in the club so that they can sign new players to turn things around as they are currently 13th on the league table (14 clubs).
