Ghana head coach Chris Hughton has named a 25-man squad as Black Stars kick-off their 2026 World Cup qualifiying journey against Madagascar this month and Comoros later.
The list is full of controversy as Fenerbahçe defender Alexander Djiku is missing despite being one of the key players for his club in Turkey. Same as Baba Rahman who is doing good with PAOK in Greece
On the other hand, Andre Ayew who is still clubless has beend handed a call-up and Jojo Wollacot, Daniel Amartey as well as Kamaldeen Sulemana complete their comeback in the squad.

However, injury forces Arsenal’s Thomas Partey to miss this start of the World Cup qualifiers.
The Black Stars will host Madagascar on November 18 at Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi before making a trip to Moroni where they will face Comoros three days later (November 21).
