Nigeria NNL: Warri Wolves Chairman Hails Team For First Away Point

Chairman Warri Wolves FC, Neville Ambakederemo has hailed the players and technical bench of the team on the team’s first away point in the Nigeria National League, NNL 23/24 Season.

Reacting to the 1-1 draw against Southern Conference Group B table topers Crown FC on match day 5 at the Soun Stadium, Ogbomoso, Neville said he is excited the team has been building in to shape gradually as the league progresses.

He said the away point gained against a potential rival in the group will surely speak for his side in time to come and urged the boys to continue to put in their best against all odds.

“I congratulate Warri Wolves FC on this one. All three points would have been better but we know a point away from home is also very vital. For sure it might be a decider for us much later”

“The boys and by extension the technical side made us, Deltans, proud on this one”

“They should keep on giving their best against all odds and the greatest consolation will come with us achieving our Target, which has been to qualify, for the NNL Super 8, get promotion into the Apex league in the country and possibly pick a continental ticket via the Federation Cup”

The Warri Wolves Chairman hailed the team spirit, and particularly commended the goal keeper Joke Elvis who denied the home side a Penalty and subsequently stepped in with several saves to keep the scoreline at 1-1.

Southern conference Group B table toppers Crown FC on Saturday Dec. 16th struggled to force Visitors Warri Wolves FC to a 1-1 draw.

The draw lifts Warri Wolves FC to a third placed position in the log.

The Seasiders will on Friday December 22nd , host Giant Brillars FC at the Kwale Township Stadium, on Match day 6 before the Christmas and New year break .
