Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has decided to hand Stanley Nwabali a starting lineup ahead of a Pre-AFCON friendly match against the Syli of Guinea.

Nwabali has been in fine form for South African DSTV Premiership club Chippa United and was called up for the 2023 African Cup of Nations.

The Super Eagles on Sunday defeated a third tier Abu Dhabi club 12-0 in an unofficial friendly game with Francis Uzoho handed a starting lineup.

William Troost-Ekong will captain the team and Kenneth Omeruo is also handed a jersey to start.

Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon and Umar Sadiq will lead the offensive.
